Terrace House @ Onan

A family home shaped by light and air

A narrow terrace plot can easily feel enclosed. Here, the plan is organised around openings and a central void that draws daylight and breezes deep into the house, so that living spaces stay bright and comfortable through the day without relying on air-conditioning.

Natural materials, planted corners and simple, durable finishes create a warm backdrop for family life. Each level has its own character, from shared spaces that open to the garden to quieter rooms above, giving everyone a place to gather and a place to retreat.

The Principle of Tropical Living at TA.LE

Designing for the tropics means working with the climate rather than against it. We use shade, cross-ventilation and greenery to keep homes cool and comfortable, and we frame views of the sky and the garden so that nature is part of daily life.

At Onan, generous openings, deep overhangs and a planted void bring light and air into the heart of the house.

A home that breathes is a home that is healthier, calmer and more pleasant to live in.
