A calm home on a historic city street
Behind a conserved façade, the interior is reorganised for contemporary living. Light wells and openings bring daylight and air into the depth of the plan, and a careful sequence of spaces moves from the busy street to quieter, more private rooms within.
New elements are kept simple so that the building’s original character shines through. Warm materials, built-in joinery and thoughtful lighting make the home feel generous and comfortable, a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city.
The Principle of Heritage Living at TA.LE
Living in a heritage building is a chance to be part of a city’s story. We respect the original structure and details, and introduce new spaces and services with care, so that the building can serve as a comfortable home for many years to come.
On Amoy Street, conservation and modern living sit side by side, each giving the other more meaning.
A home with history has a character that no new building can quite replace.
