Turning a restroom into part of the dining experience
The design treats the restroom as a continuation of the restaurant rather than a service space. Dark timber, natural stone and indirect light create a hushed atmosphere, and each fitting is placed with care so that the room feels composed and uncluttered.
Small moments, such as the way light falls across a basin or how a screen frames a mirror, give guests a moment of stillness before they return to the table. Every material was chosen to be beautiful, durable and easy to keep in perfect condition.
The Principle of Detail at TA.LE
We believe that the smallest rooms deserve the same attention as the grandest ones. Careful detailing is what makes a space feel calm, well made and easy to use, and it is often the part of a project that guests remember most.
Here, aligned joints, concealed fittings and a restrained palette let the materials speak and keep the focus on the experience rather than the equipment.
Detail is where design becomes hospitality: a quiet way of telling guests that they have been thought of.
