Palais Renaissance

Remaking a landmark at the head of Orchard Road

The renewal gives the mall a clear and generous arrival, with an atrium that draws visitors in from the street. Finishes inspired by French artisanal techniques, such as marquetry and mosaic, bring warmth and detail to every surface a visitor touches.

Beyond its new look, the design reorganises circulation and sightlines so that each tenant is easier to find and every space feels calm and unhurried. The result is a place that rewards a slower visit and restores the mall’s place on Orchard Road.

The Principle of Craft at TA.LE

Craft is how we give a space its character. We work closely with makers and suppliers to choose materials that age well and details that are made by hand, so that a building feels considered at every scale, from the façade to the door handle.

At Palais Renaissance, this means patterned stone, inlaid timber and soft lighting that together create a sense of luxury that is felt rather than announced.

Good craft lasts. It turns a renovation into a long-term investment in the people who use the space every day.
